Pompie's Birthday

Last week was my dad's 51st birthday. It worked out that we were able to run to logan and have dinner with my parents and my sister Brooke and her girls. We were also able to squeeze in a little time at the pumpkin walk. This is something fun that my kids have not been able to experience, but we were able to get to go. My favorite had to be the "Where the Wild things are" display. It was a very cold night, so we ended up cutting it short, but still had a good time.

Disney World

We did it again. This was Breklynn's 3rd time to Disneyworld and Derrik's second. There were some deals going on that we obviously to us to good to pass up. It was unseasonably hot for florida but it is Disney and you always have fun. We only went for a week this time (last 2 times was for 10 days) and Ty and I both could tell a difference. We like going for longer :)

We were able to actually do a lot of new things this time. Ty ran a 10k, I ran a 3k and Breklynn ran a 200m dash. It was all part of the food and wine festival taking place in Epcot. I was able to complete the 3k with my mom which was a lot of fun.




Another fun thing we were able to do this time, was Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. That was a lot of fun, they close Magic Kingdom down and you have to buy a seperate ticket to the party, but they only sell a certain # of tickets so the crowds are are less. We were able to dress the kids up and take them trick or treating around Magic Kingdom and also get pictures with some characters that you would never get the chance to with other wise (Villains and Snow White with all 7 Dwarfs). Breklynn's favorite part was the trick or treating. We got so much candy that that is what we are using to give out at our house!





Next trip won't be for at least 2 more years. Ty needs to finish school and Derrik needs to be old enough to ride with his sis on more rides.

First day of Big School

Breklynn had her first day of kinderagrten today. She has been ready for months- me on the other hand- not so much. She already has 4 friends in class and I am sure there are more to come. I bought her an alarm clock last week so she could set it and get used to getting up early, so we had to set it last night. This morning when it went off, it ketp going off so I went to check on her and she is laying in bed smiling :). She turned it off finally and looked at me and said- "today is my first day of kindergarten". She was so ready.

Mom and Derrik weren't quiet as ready- he walked aroung the house for awhile just saying sis with his arms up lile where is she?

The Fray

Last night Ty and I and his brother Kyle and his sone Kyler all went to the Fray concert. Ty and I saw the Fray a couple of years ago when their first album had just come out and WE LOVED THEM!! So we decided we would never miss them again if at all possible. Once again they did not dissapoint. Here are a couple of pic's from our night

Breklynn graduated from Preschool last night and teacher puts on a pretty good program- Here are a couple of her parts, in the first she is the sassy Sharpay on the right and in the second she is the Mary Poppins in white.

Weekend Pictures

Breklynn got her "big girl truck" last year, she kept talking about being able to take her little brother for a ride in the truck. Well he is finally big enough to be able to ride with his sister.

Breklynn is on a competition dance team, and they prformed for the first time on Friday night- these are a couple of the pictures.

Happy Birthday Derrik

Derrik turned 1 last week- We had a fun little party for him- He likes cars and trucks so we had a Dump Truck Party for him.

Going Private!

Anyone and everyone- I have decided to take my little family and go private. I have noticed my counter creeping up and up and it freaks me out a little that somebody is peeking in on my kids. Where has all the time gone?

It has been quite a while since I last updated. Life is crazy as usual, but hey who's isn't right. I have been asking Breklynn a lot lately about her growing up. She starts kindergarten this fall and I am having a really hard time with it. I don't want her to grow up. I told her the other day that I was going to find a magic spell to keep her small. She didn't like it but, I am so sad to see her grow up so fast. Derrik will be 1 in a few weeks and I am struggling with that. My kids are going up so fast I don't like it at all. !

1st Haircut

Yesterday my friend Barb cut Derrik's hair for the first time. He had about 1 inch "wings" coming from behind his ears on both sides. He did pretty good with the clippers at first but he didn't want to sit there very long. So now he is wingless and looks a lot more grown up I think.

Boys vs. Girls

Sis was a very non-adventurous baby. Her brother on the other hand, can't seem to stop exploring. He is constantly crawling up, on, and through things. We were talking this morning about the difference between them as babies. Sis was not one bit interested in climbing or being adventurous, she was more interested in playing with her toys, where as her brother could care less about toys, but is way more interested in climbing or destroying something, he can shred a piece of paper with in seconds, his new nickname is Capt. Destructo, because he is usually trying to destroy himself, by climbing or destroying something that happened to get in his way.
